Peter Squire

Peter qualified while training at a top 20 firm of accountants in 1988 and became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in 1998. He and fellow director Steve Aston set up AGS in 1989, developing processes and strategies to take the business forward, helping to set them apart from other accountants.

While Peter has concentrated on the technical side of the business, ensuring that the quality of work produced for clients is of the highest standard – and leading to the awarding of the ACCA kitemark – he has also helped to develop client-focused solutions covering all aspects of business.

Peter very much enjoys working with clients across all sectors of industry, introducing and implementing AGS solutions, dealing with profit improvement right the way through to strategically preparing the business for sale or passing businesses on to future generations.

The experience he has gained working in practice since 1989 has proven invaluable when advising clients ranging from business start-ups to PLCs.
